Opinião: Melhor que o livro que o antecede mas, na minha opinião, ainda inferior ao primeiro livro. Aqui as mortes não são tão macabras, há uma maior intromissão política na história, o que constituiu um ponto a favor, e afasta-se mais do esquema usado nos livros anteriores; no entanto, a história, mais uma vez, não me conseguiu prender tanto como o Postmortem.

Opinião: O primeiro livro que li desta autora foi Postmortem e à semelhança do primeiro livro, apenas com o decorrer da investigação vamos conseguindo juntar as peças e chegar ao assassino. Este possui também boas descrições das mortes, mas não me fez sentir “on the edge of my seat”, apesar de a certo ponto a protagonista estar também em perigo, como acontece também no primeiro livro. Parece que a autora pega no primeiro livro, mudando apenas a circunstância das mortes (algo do género “em esquema que ganha não se mexe”) e escreve este livro, o que tornou a leitura menos entusiasmante.
